WithLendingClubnolongerprovidingtimelyupdatesontheirloanbookwewillnotknowexactlyhowmuchtheyissuedin2014forquitesometime.ButIamconfidentthatmy$5.3billionnumberwasoverlyaggressive.Wedoknowthatinthefirstninemonthsof2014LendingClubissued$2.96billioninnewloans.So,eveniftheyhaveabreakoutfourthquarterIexpecttheywillbeunder$4.5billionintotaloriginationsfor2014.
由于Lendingclub不再对其贷款账簿进行阶段性更新，因此我们无法了解该公司在2014年一段时期内的具体放贷金额。但53亿美元的这一预估还是过度乐观。众所周知，在2014年的前9个月，Lending Club实现了29.6亿美元的新贷款。因此，即使他们在第四季度成交量有所突破，我预估他们2014年的成交额将不超过45亿美元。

很高兴我的这一判断是正确无误的。Prosper在去年第三季度实现盈利。
IalsopredictedthatLendingClubwouldhaveasuccessfulIPOin2014althoughIexpecteditwasgoingtohappeninthefirsthalfoftheyear.ButgiventhepublicintentionsofLendingClubitwasabitofastretchtocalltheLendingClubIPOanactualprediction.
此外，我曾预测Lending Club或将在2014年成功上市，尽管时间为2014年上半年。但对于公众而言，把LendingClub上市称之为实际预测未免略有夸张。
